What is the easiest way to ice cupcakes? |
I will be making about 150 cupcakes for my wedding and then a "topper" cake and a groom's cake......I need to know how to go about icing the cupcakes smoothly..........Any advice? Here's a link: Purchase Betty Crocker's ready to spread frosting in the little tub. Microwave for 20-30 seconds. turn the cooled cupcake upside down and dip it in the frosting. Let it cool. I do this for all parties, and I am a caterer. You can do it with all flavors of frosting. It gives a glossy finish. You can buy an inexpensive cake decorating kit at wal-mart and they come in different sizes.. use the largest size and shape that you want and then just swirl it on, it's fast and easy and looks pretty...
