What is the order of the bridesmaids and groomsmen in a wedding?

i need to know the exact order of how the bridesmaids and groomsmen walk down the asile before the flowergirl and the ringbear and then the bride and her dad.

The most common way I've seen is by height. If they will be standing on some sort of stairs, it's best to have the tallest at the bottom and the shortest at the top (to balance them out a little bit). If there are no stairs, I'd start with the shortest (to stand the furthest away from the bride and groom) and end with the tallest.

--I've seen this done two ways. One is that the groomsmen and groom do not proceed down the aisle, but are instead waiting at the altar when the ceremoney begins. The second way is just the groom and officiant at the front, and the bridesmaids and groomsmen come down the aisle in pairs.

After the bridesmaids and groomsmen, then the maid of honor and best man go. Then the ring bearer, the flower girl, and last (after everyone in the crowd rises) the bride and her father.

And, just to be sure, the groom is already at the front before the bridesmaids and groomsmen come down the aisle, along with whomever is officiating the ceremony.

You really can organize this any way you wish, but there are several more common options. I can't believe so many of the answerers to your question mentioned having them go by height - I've never heard of this! Where I am from, they go in order of "closeness" to the bride and groom. The Maid or Matron of Honour is the person who's your closest friend/relative, and the same with the Best Man. They stand right next to you, so are the last to walk up. Then, depending on your numbers, the next closest to you, etc.
There are the basic two ways of doing it - having the groom and groomsmen waiting at the front of the church, then the bridesmaids walking down the aisle individually, from the "last" bridesmaid first, on to your Maid or Matron of Honour. Then the flower girl and ring bearer, before you walk in.
A second way of doing it is having the attendants walk in as couples, from the "last" couple first, to the Maid of Honour with the Best Man, followed by the flower girl and ring bearer.
Wish you luck!

You've got quite a crowd in the party.
First, the flowergirl and ringbearer walk in side by side (or approximately. If they are only little, there'll be a bit of wandering off!). Then the bridesmaids. Depends on who they are in what order. For example, if there are three it could be groom's sister first, then your second best friend, then your best friend or maid of honour. Then you and your dad.
The groomsmen don't walk down the aisle. They'll be waiting up the front with the groom. That's what we do in Australia anyway.

ring bearer and flower girl

best man and maid of honor

according to height, couples paired off, bridesmades & groomsmen

bride and dad

Thats up to you. Most people go by height, then the best man and maid of honor. Then the ring bearer and flowergirl. Then the bride and her dad. I'm not really sure that's what you want to know- let me know if it's not.
