What is an appropriate gift to give at a traditional Chinese wedding? |
I am going to Taiwan in September for a friends wedding. What is an appropriate gift. I know of a red envelope containing money in increments of 4 or 8...like $88 or $440 dollars. Anything else? Giving money is perfect because the couple can spend it on anything they want. Just do that, because what if you get a really crappy expensive gift that they don't even like? Golden Chopsticks!!! chop sticks!! ^_^ rice. |

How about a round of golf for the guys? Good luck! ...Hi. I think you are a little mixed up. In a Catholic Church, you must be married by a priest or a deacon. That's it. You cannot be legally married by anyone else if you want the wedding ... I got married in September, too, and the bridal party announcement song was September by Earth, Wind & Fire. I also like Let's Get it Started in Here by the Black Eyed Peas. ...My general rule of thumb is to invite as many as you want to come and 75% of them will come with out rsvping ...I have several pieces of moissanite. No, you can't tell the difference. I think the other poster is thinking of CZ. Moissanite looks exactly alike and if it won't bother you, go for it... I would say tell your BF do it free and that could be your wedding gift to the happy couple if it is a friend and he is not a professional he should not asked to be paid if he does not go for this ... Planning a wedding yourself is added stress. If you could afford to use one you should because they usually have a line up from catering to music. And if she's good she'll take all of you... |
