What is the best way to become a vegetarian? |
I have attempted before but failed, is there a way to ween yourself from meat and what should i eat to get the proterin that I need? You should try turning vegetarian with a gradual process. Decide to not eat a certain food that includes meat every week or so and commit to that. It's easier when you concentrate on avoiding that only. Take smaller portions of any other meat you do end up eating so you can ease out of it eventually. It's much harder to stop eating something you constantly have cold turkey than it is something you have less and less. Some people crave meat more than others for sure. It only took me a month to ween myself off. No struggle. No will power. I don't crave it or miss it. Some people ween themselves off for years. I think the ones that struggle are less likely to be successful. Be content to be a low-meat eater for awhile. get rid of all the meat and ask a doctor for help my sister loves meat and cant resist when she figured out she cant eat and digest meat she cried like a baby hahaha. kidding Understand the theory how do all animals come from? How we come from? Is that necessary that we eat meats? Calm your soul afterall. go to a place where they kill animals.then watch how they make it look all pretty in the nice packaging. you could always eat 1 Just think that Meat is death cause it's something dead. Remember U are what U eat! stop eating meat, thats probably the best way! Phase meat out. Swear off red meats one month, then pork the next, then chicken, then seafood. Well, I can't help you with protein sources, but vegetarians I know who love the taste of meat (I know that sounds strange) eat portobella mushrooms. You can grill it and eat it like a burger, cut it up for pasta, put it on pizza... many different things... stop eating meat The Quorn range is the food I eat for protein..... will power is really all you can do. my parents only let me be a vegetarian when I turned 16 so when I did stop eating meat it was hard. Any time I was tempted though I just imagined it was still alive and looking at me, weird I know but it worked, now I can't even stand the smell of chicken, my former favorite food. i guess de best way is not to eat meat....but the most important thing you need is the determination or will power to reach ur goal...guess dats de main thing....if you have dat, feel you'll succeed in becoming one... As far as how to become vegetarian. Realize that every industry you support when you consume meat, milk, eggs, or any any other animal product, supports the domination of other species. Realize the intelligence and sentience of the animals people choose to eat. Understand that cow's milk was not made for you, and that chicken eggs are just the menstral waste of a bird. I f you want to be a vegetarian the best idea is to replace meat with a lot of protein like nuts, peanut butter, and eggs. Also watch one of PETA's videos about meat I was a major meat eatter until I watched "Meet your meat" I said no to meat as soon as I got done watching that video. So sad:( In my opinion, the best way to get protein when you are a vegetarian is to eat Quorn. Quorn is made from a protein (Mycoprotein) so you get a sufficient amount from that. Beans are a very good source of protien, and fiber. It is a success in fact of your attempt! (Not a failure at all)! |
