Should you eat raw and cooked foods in the same meal?

I am a mostly raw vegan, as I still enjoy some cooked vegan foods and I am still learning a lot about optimal health and eating. I have heard that you should separate your cooked and raw foods for optimal absorption of nutrients and to allow the enzymes to do their job. Is this true, or can cooked vegan foods be combined with raw vegan foods? If not, how long should they be separated by?

There are lots of thoughts on this. I always eat my raw foods 1st. Then followed by cooked. When out I don't always floow this rule.
This summer I am doing RAW for aboput 90% of my food intake & really enjoying the change.
Look at some Raw sites to get the different info, then decide for yourself.

Not so sure on this myself, I'm currently on my lunch break atm so don't have time to research it, I will come back and edit later if I find anything once I'm off work.

I have heard and believe its better to drink any liquids after you complete your meal and not to drink them with it. This way the juices and acids in your stomach can focus on breaking down the food you eat and not be diluted heavily by excess liquid. Especially true if you are drinking a sugary drink as all the sugar can interfere.

I sure hope you can...I had a cheeseless pizza covered in cooked veggies with baby carrots and a salad on the side for dinner.....I'm kind of interested in the answer too though. Perhaps I should change my eating habits if that is true.
