Can anyone tell me how to make vegetarian diet plan?

I would like to become a vegetarian but I don't know what a well balanced vegetarian diet would consist of. I need a menu plan, something to go by until I get the hang of this. Do anyone have any advice or know of a website I could go to find some good information?

The best website I found that gives menu plans is http://health.discovery.com/national-bod... . It will provide you with a balanced and nutritious plan.

You have to register but it is worth it to get the recipes.

Subscribe to a magazine called "Vegetarian Times"

I would suggest taking out some books about vegetarians and vegans to learn plant sources of nutrients your body needs, especially the following (I have read all of these and they really helped me out)

1. "What to Eat" by Marion Nestle
(She is not vegetarian, she is a world-renown doctor and nutritionist, she gives some great advice regarding food, what is healthy and what isn't, and she isn't a big fan of the meat and dairy industries)

2. "Becoming Vegan" by Brenda Davis and Vesanto Melina
(This book is really handy, though it is about being vegan and not vegetarian it has a lot of information that will benefit you as well; vegans and vegetarians have more in common than apart in my opinion. It has menus for teens, pregnancy, athletes, elderly folks... it is immensely helpful. It's detailing of all the major vitamins, minerals, fats, protein and carbohydrates is especially handy!)

Past these two books, I would probably take online advice with a grain of salt because few, if any, people can give you advice as a medical professional on here... they just tell it from their hearts and from personal experience, so you need to judge and decide what is right for you. I'd heavily encourage talking to a nutritionist or doctor if you have concerns and are not so sure about other's advice to you.
