What is your easiest, quickest favorite vegetarian recipe? |
I am going to the grocery store and can't think of anything fun to make tonight. You didn't say what type of diet that you followed - if you ate eggs, dairy. Garbanzo beans with tomatoes and herbs. Saute some onions; add garlic, oregano, basil, and whatever herbs you want. Add a can of garbanzo beans (chick peas) and a can of diced tomatoes; and let it simmer 20 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste; also add a couple of tablespoons of lemon juice. mac and cheese- cook the macaroni, melt cheese, butter and milk in a pot and add the macaroni. Grilled tofu ........Cut extra-firm tofu into thick slices; brush with olive oil; sprinkle with garlic powder & oregano; grill on all sides until golden brown pizza burgers! pull muffin in half layer each half with pizza sauce....top with whatever toppings u like (mushrooms, onions, green peppers, ect) and than top with mozz cheese...bake at 400 for about 10 minutes Mushrooms and broccol in an olive oil and garlic sauce, heated in a skillet tossed with some whole wheat al dente pasta. I really like grilled veggies. Bok choy, zucchini, mushrooms, chop and toss in a little lemon juice and olive oil... yum mmmmmmmm vegitarian chilli!!
