How does a horse get so big and muscular?

But it's a vegan animal! A herbivore! It must be eating steak on the sly, since as you all know, only steak and meat give you protein.

Yeah, elephants are closet-meat-eaters too.

Oats, hay, and lots of hard work. Also different breeds of horses, racing horses aren't built like farm horses, and Thor breads are different built than the wild horse. Kind of snippy aren't we? someone must of crossed you but good!

The Protein Myth. Some of the biggest, must muscular animals in the world are Veggie lovers.
Eating what they are meant to eat.

No, not steaks. Its all the worms in their feed. Just like your ketchup! (Or is it catsup?)

Genetics gives them the size, exercise gives them muscles. That's why we haven't got any, we're sitting on our bums in front of a computer.

genetics, ever hear of them?

Every animal utilizes its main food source in a unique way. If humans take in a high amount of protein it will help grow new muscle and fat tissues. However, most of our protein is dedicated to our brain. Higher brain functions come with a cost.

Horses need a proportionally lower amount of protein in their diet, since evolution (or God) has helped them to build their bodies with grass as their main food source.
