How long does bread stay good in the freezer?

It tastes and looks great. I think it's been like 2 or 3 months in there.

I bet it could stay in there and stay fresh for 2 and 1/4 years.

Personally, I would suspect it will be dry, at the least. If I wre you, I would try putting it into something like stuffing. You could also put the bread into a recipe like bread pudding or breakfast casserole(if you don't mind milk and eggs). I freeze bread dough up to 3 months but I find that pre-baked bread dries out more than I like. Therefore, if I want to freeze baked bread, I cut it into cubes and freeze it for recipes like the ones mentioned above. Either way, it won't be unhealthy to eat. It just may be mighty dry if you eat it like fresh bread. My mother freezes bread and swears by it. It just depends on your tastes, I guess.

2 or 3 months is definitely fine as long as it wasn't already stale when you froze it.

Depends on the bread.
Light fluffy white bread does not last as long as naturally leavened whole grain bread which can last up to 6 months or longer. Freezer burn must be avoided so double bagging the bread and putting it in a cardboard box will help prevent this. Basically the bread needs to be insulated against freezer burn.

at least a year
