What vegetarian food should I but when I go grocery shopping? |
So I'm wanting to eat healthier and a go vegetarian. My newest favorite soy product is Soyrizzo. It's just like Churizzo but vegan. It has 60% less fat than churizzo and tastes great! I found it at Stater Bros. in the produce section. Great choice to become vegetarian! I mostly eat tofu, and leafy vegetable. Things that have protein, vitamins, and iron. :) Amy's Soups are awesome (Chile and Vegitable Lentle are my favorites). Fruit, tomatos, potatos, corn, sunflower oil, coconut milk, wholewheat flour, beets, aspargus, herbs, stevia, oatmeal, canned pumpkin, seasoning salt, soya sauce, beans, kelp, seeds, grains, wheats, sprouts, onions, lettuce, salsify, corn starch, baking soda, baking powder, mushrooms, mushroom gravy, soya cheese, etc. Sigh, if you don't know that you should be buying then your not really to go vegetarian. One persons shopping list maybe not be ok for you. Go see a nutritionist and talk about your diet change. im a 13 year old vegetarian, so i dont always buy my own food. but i have a tip for you, read the ingredients on EVERYTHING Nothing, everything has tiny particals of meat in it. Nope, you cant eat a thing, =[ How sad rice, pasta, fruit, veggies I always buy all the in-season vegies, potatoes, and lots of tomatoes. Beans in all varietys, pasta that you like, eggs , if you eat em, and of course tofu. |
