Is they a law that says you have to have at least one vegetarian item on a menu?

I aint got nothing vegetarian at my joint.

Some vegetarians came in my place and now they is mad.

I think they are just some r acists.

No. Most places have at least a garden salad offered though.

That's odd that there's a place in the world that doesn't have at least one vegetarian item or one that can be easily adapted for a vegetarian. In my opinion, it's better for consumer base just to have that option open. Even when I was an omnivore, I often opted for the vegetarian choice.

it is politically correct, but as a vegetarian I doubt I would go to a BBQ place, or burger joint, and expect tofu! those people are living on another planet anyway, screw them!

Well no, but you'll make more money if you did cater for them. It will be good for your business so do consider it.

No law just smart business.

There is no law.
No one should expect vegetarian fare at a BBQ.

From your profile:
"About me: I owns a BBQ joint. I cook up some mean steaks. I don't like vegans......"

Perhaps these fictional vegetarians found you to be rude or insulting.

Your grammar and syntax seem to fluctuate greatly.
I think you need trolling lessons.

I don't believe there is a law that you are required as a proprietor to provide a vegetarian meal. But I suppose this depends alot on where in the country you're operating.

That said, it's pretty easy to conjure-up a vegetarian/vegan meal on the fly. Like a baked potato and salsa with some steamed vegetables, or a grilled portabello cap on a bun with a salad. You just have to have a little creativity, and your veg*n patrons will be very happy.

There's no law, but if you were interested in expanding your customer base you'd include one or two vegetarian options. Even carnivores like me have days when we're not in the mood for meat; so if my friends are going out for steak or BBQ, if there aren't any other choices I'd just skip it.

Maybe enroll in an English class??? I think you should have at least ONE thing veggie for people..

I very very much doubt they are racist...and I don't think that there are laws about menus.

what kind of "joint" do own? By your name, I would say a BBQ joint? Is it a restaurant? Would it be so hard to have a veggie sandwich on your menu? They are cheap and easy to make...I'm a veggie, and the only reason I would ever go to a BBQ place is because of the people I was with...so is it just not a nice thing to do for your customers to have a veggie item? You could BBQ some veggies and throw it on a bun...

:)

Be veggie friendly, we're nice people

and good luck...owning a business is hard work!

I don't think its a law - but its a good way to increase profits thats for sure

Okay I really could not understand what you really wrote...but the majority of places should have at least a couple of vegetarian options and at least one vegan option as a law (and something other than salad, fruit, we need real veg meals!) Of course the majority probably would not include exclusively meat places (i.e meat BBQ, steakhouses, chicken places, seafood place, etc)
