If I used V8 in a bloody mary, is that still considered a serving of vegetables in my diet?

I mean, after all, V8 *does* advertise that 8 oz of it is equivalent to 1 of your 5 daily servings of vegetables per day... or something like that. Which would *literally* mean I could be both diet conscious and a drunk at the same time.
...I could get used to this whole health-consciousness thing!

You're an alcoholic, right??? Only a hard core alcoholic would try to make sense of this logic! Anyway, considering the amount of sodium in your V8 and the amount of alcohol you want to consume, I'm not thinking that you're doing much for your body with what you propose. Now, how about a Virgin Mary replete with stalks of celery for munching?

V8 is overly processed and contains a fairly hefty dose of salt. You should make your own fruit/veg juices and add vodka to that.

Yes, and remember, 3-5 servings a day!

if i spit in your food, but mix it up really well.....its still going to be in there. no matter how you eat soemthing, you are still eating it.

Yes,

But if you're looking to be healthy why mix it with alcohol a toxin?

heck yeah --- just bc u add alcohol , does not take away from ur veggie intake! lol

While V8 contains a lot of valuable nutrients they are VERY high in sodium (even the low sodium ones) so it could actually do more harm then good. It is much better to eat the raw vegetables to get your nutrients.

That's a good idea! I should try that.

YUPPERS! And french fries and ketchup are definitely vegan fare, after all they are potatoes and tomatoes cooked in "vegetable oil" right? And "Milk"shakes are good for you because they have "milk" in them! Hey and did you know Chicken McNuggets are almost entirely corn, corn is a veggie, right?
My gosh, you are soooo on to something!

Don't think the amount of fiber is equivalent to a serving of a vegetable, is it?
