What kinds of vegetables are good to freeze? And which ones are not? |
I want to freeze some vegetables for soup's this winter and want to know which ones freeze well and wich ones don't. That's all great answers, but can you like give me a list of good ones to do, and then bad ones to do? Peppers are great to freeze. And can be used in soups all winter long..... peppers corn, carrots, green beans, Lima beans, and peas. Lentils. I make lentil soups and curries all the time and they are excellent to freeze. They lose none of the texture or taste upon defrosting. So easy to cook with and great on the waist line and on the budget. |
