What is a good nutrition plan for vegetarians? |
What kind of meals should a vegetarian eat to make sure they are getting enough vitamins in their diets? http://www.supervegetarianguide.com/ Two veggies and a fruit every lunch or dinner. One of the veggies should be greens or cole. (Broccoli, cabbage....) A bean dish every lunch or dinner. (Tofu, tvp, baked beans, chili, bean based sloppy joe, pea or lentil soup....} A whole grain every lunch or dinner (Bread or rice or corn....) Drink soy milk, fruit juice, or tomato juice. Drink tisanes or tea between meals. For breakfast, eat a high fiber cereal that's one of those vitamin added deals, with soy milk and two fruits. If you're a vegan, add a B12 pill to your diet. It is all about balance....I have been a veg for years and it is very easy to grab the junk because it is so quick and easy.....Right now I am doing the Vegetarian NutriSystem. I am losing weight AND my diet has never been so balanced....their guidelines would really work for anyone on or off the program. If you go to their website, you can see what they suggest you eat every day and what the portions are..... Don't really know any diet plans that are set for vegetarian. Stop denying meat. Your body knows it is the right thing to do. I am tired of givinging the same answer for many different Qs. Not really a plan, but here's what you should be getting (and could be deficient in) : START EATING MEAT |

I love having grilled cheeses sandwiches. It's not just about eating like a rabbit. You can have lots of great food, plus junk food. You can be a really healthy vegetarian or a not so healthy ... Gaining weight and pains you describe sound like lactose intolerance to me. You get also hunger attacks through LI, this is quite usual, even if not often described. It has something to do with the... Yikes - I would run away from that doctor as quick as possible. Did you know doctors have less than three hours of nutritional training? They almost always suggest a high dairy, meat eating diet to... that one place in zagat ...Just because you can eat meat doesn't mean you have too.Eating meat doesn't build muscle,lifting weights does.Animals don't what is wrong or right and don't have morals,they eat... I was very clear with my boyfriend from the beginning that meat was not entering my house under any circumstances, ever, period, and if he didn't like it he didn't have to move in with me... You might just have to wait until they plants start flowering. I've been searching for a picture or something that would help, but found nothing. If memory serves, the zucchini flower is lar... Just start eating fish, and never call yourself a vegetarian. ... |
