Are smelly chocolate chip cookies appropriate to bring to a potluck?

I was also wondering if smelly chocolate chips were a vegan product, I don't know if there are any milk products in them.
I have been given a recipe by my boyfriend's mother, it has been in their family for many generations, I feel honored to make them, but what do you think? Will they go over well? Or should I just stick the the corn casserole that i usually make, strangely, it's a real crowd pleaser.

That sounds great! Can you get me the recipe? But first let me ask you-what makes them smelly? But really, those sound delightful- and they could very well become quite popular, then you could send them in to betty crocker magazine and have them featured.
I'm sure it would make your boyfriend and his mom happy to make them, and it would be a change from the corn casserole.
Please though, give me the recipe, I may have to try them!

If your concerned about them being nonvegan, adjust the recipe slightly, find a substitute for smelly chocolate, eggs and milk. I'm sure our ever creative Christy will find a way :)

just be sure to leave a towel down under them. don't worry about skid marks, cuz the smelly chocolate chips will make their own...

hold on- why are they smelly?

Smelly?! WTH are the cookies smelly?

Stick w/ the corn casserole if it doesn't stink.

if they stink than yes

Smelly chocolate? That's odd.

Christy you make me laugh! You're so funny =0)

is this the real name of a product or do you just think cookies are smelly????

in general regular cookies are not vegan because you need eggs and milk to make them.

What are the ingredients in your smelly choc chip cookies if I may ask. Need more information.

Smelly as in tennis shoes or dirty sock smelly, burnt or rotten smelly? Just never heard of it???

How come, if you have the recipe, you don't know if there are milk products in it? I'm confused.
If you know that the corn casserole is a crowd pleaser, I would go with that.

Go with the cookies.

Would you eat a "smelly" chocolate chip cookie? There's your answer.
