What is a good alternative to butter and margerine? |
I am looking for an alternative to butter and margarine that doesnt contain any dairy or buttermilk and is also suitable for vegan and coeliacs In baking, applesauce. For enjoying, healthy oils (like olive) or Earth Balance, which I'm pretty sure you can get at Whole Foods. There are several on the market your best bet would be a source like a good health food store or Wholefoods. Try Earth Balance. It is completely vegan and delicious. It's kind of hard to find this in stores, so you might want to try a vegetarian store or something. Oh yea, it's completely vegan, and it goes perfect with toast!!! In fact, I think I'm going to have some toast right now =D. Pure Soya Spread is delicious, healthy & completely vegan. Country Crock doesnt have any dairy in it. It is all vegetable oil. Also "I cant beleive its not butter"..I think that doesnt either. |
