Is their an inexpensive brand of organic food products?

I am trying to eat healthier, but healthy food is expensive. Any good brands?

I don't know that there's a brand necessarily but you can buy organic fruits and vegetables and farmers' markets far cheaper than you could in a store.

Organic might not always be the healthiest - especially when buying packaged foods. If you're looking into eating healthier, try buying all whole foods/not processed . . . whole grains like brown rice, whole oats, lentils, beans and fruits, vegetables, and anything you know hasn't been manipulated into being something other than what it is.

You'd be better off going to a local farm or farmer's market for this.

You could grow your own, other then that..........NO

Organic products cost more, because it costs more to produce them.

If there is a Trader Joe's near you, I suggest going there. It's like the Costco of organics. I LOVE their food!

No, because labelling it "organic' automatically raises the price. In fact many "organic" foods come from the same field. It is the same just labelled differently. Why? Because veggie heads are gullible.

You're going to pay a premium for most of these brands, and there's not much difference in cost among them.

It does not cost more to produce "organic" produce. They charge you more for "organic" produce because they know you NEED it. You won't eat the other stuff and there is no other alternative. They have you right where they want you.

"Organic" produce is still fertilized by rendered animal parts so why bother paying more for it?

try to visit malls or any other organic store

This line of organic foods is pretty reasonable. We are fond of these products.

Stop & Shop supermarkets sell their own brand of health foods which are less expensive. I have a dear friend who uses them & she is very health conscious, reads labels & knows what to look for. There may also be store brands available at other chain supermarkets, read the labels & compare to your health food stores. It seems that organic products are becoming more available to mainstream consumers. Also, remember, if in doubt - fresh is likely to be best.
