I want to make a different salad for a picnic any suggestions?

I made one last night that had fresh cut up pears in it and figs with onion and red papper slices, mised with baby spinach. I poured a vinagriette on it made from champagne vinegar and olive oil... It was good but I want to make something different..should I have added some goat cheese to the salad? If you have any good green salad recipes can you share them with me?

Baby spinach with apples, walnuts, raisins and honey miustard dressing.

MAKE RUSSIAN SALAD

The last veggie BBQ I went to friend made a very simple salad of sliced white grapes, rocket lettuce, REAL feta cheese and finely chopped mushrooms. It was served with a very simple vinaigrette (olive oil, seasoning and wine vinegar).
If I feel like salad with my food I have just torn lettuce, chopped tomatoes and REAL feta cheese crumbled over. I don't eat a dressing with that.

there is this brocoli salad.. i don't have the recipie with me.. but its cut up brocoloi it has cheese, raisons, seasme seeds, maynoaise and i'm not sure what else is in the dressing..also some cheese

Have you tried blueberries in your summer green salads? they're delicious.

I like rucola with small tomatoes, olives, yellow bell pepper and feta cheese. you can also use goat's cheese. Add thinly slieced garlic, onions and a vinaigrette with Balsamico. Season with freshly ground pepper.

toss-it and call it a mixed salad.lol

I used to work in a deli and there were such a variety of salads that you wouldn't think of but were nice for a picnic.

Three bean salad and Cucumber salad were the most popular. I don't have a recipe for either but I'm sure you can look it up on the internet.

I love to make Taffy Apple Salad for picnics. It's a nice light refreshing salad. There are millions of recipies for it over the internet.
