How many vegans on here with a degree or other form of higher education? |
I just want to dispell the myth that vegans have something wrong with their brains because of what they eat! I technically hold two science degrees (one in biology, the other in nutriton). I think it's funny when people with no knowledge of nutrition try to tell me that my diet is lacking! I have a degree, a masters degree and PhD and I am a Lecturer in Psychology. There are a large number of vegetarians among the academic staff of the university where I work. OK.........vegetarians & vegans are more brainy..........we all know that! Nick C has a degree in being a retard. Well I'm not a vegan, just a vegetarian, but I have a degree and a decent job, as do all the other veggies I know. Ok, I'm not a vegan but I'm a vegetarian. And I have a Bachelor of Science degree. So there! Here's an interesting article for you. Not a vegan, but a vegetarian (lacto-ovo). I'm 19 and working on getting my degree. I'm currently a sophmore in college and have not yet decided on a major. Possibly english with a minor in creative writing. (I'm vegan) I don't know if this counts but I was a vegetarian for 7 years and in that time frame I obtained my Associates Degree in Business and have a very nice career now, however I went back to eating meat beause I was bored with the food. (at the time, there were not as many choices, I may go back to being vegetarian now that there are many more choiecs for me.) I'm planning on going back to school to get a Bachlor's Degree and just continue with my education. I love to learn! Well, I currently hold a degree in Massage Therapy but I'm going back to school to get a doctorate in a Chiropractic-like discipline called Naprapathy, and I'm a Vegan! 6 more years of school here I come! It is MORE likely a Vegan will have an higher education than average. *oink* that's not fair, I'm still a highschool student. But i'm planning on getting a degree in mathmatics Hi I am in my final year at Uni and I am doing a BSc in Archaeology next year I am doing a Masters and then onto do a PhD and I am a Vegan....I am getting 1st's at the moment aswell :) well im not vegan but vegetarian,im 28,spent over ten years at university, have 3 degrees and a decent career ! I was a vegan for 17 years. I also have a master's degree and I am in the process of applying for doctoral programs. They just did a study here in Canada and found most vegetarians have a degree or have some type of higher education, I have 3 degrees and have my chef's papers, along with a degree in Computers. I'm virtually a vegan (just need to cut out honey and start an animal free life which I plan to do next year) and I have a degree in English. im a vegetarian since birth. am in Uni now- Sociology major. okie since u r talking abt "vegans"- i gotta tell ya im not one. if u don't consume dairy products like milk butter cheese yoghurt etc, where r u getting ur calcium frm? do u fracture ur bones easily? are ur teeth well- formed? btw, honestly, i dont think there's a relationship between being a degree holder n a vegan/vegetarian or non-vegetarian... anw, gud gng! u got sooo many answers here... I bet less than 1% of the population are vegans with an education no its common knowledge vegans are retards You notice the vegans that do have an education are career students. Because they can't hold a job, because they are social retards, and too busy judging others and peddling their cabbage head ideals to get any work done. I am a meat eater and I have not got a degree. there is nothing special in a degree , some degrees are given to a person just for attending lessons . and from my own personal experience having worked with engineers with degrees, I have only met one with any common sense. doing thing in theory, is easy but doing things in practice that is when you need your common sense . when the theory does not do what it is supposed to do . |
