What is your view on vegetarianism?

How technical do you have to be to be considered a true vegetarian or not? I do not eat meat because it involves the death of animals and because of the saturated fat and and other crap . I am usually okay with milk because normally you do not have to kill the animal for it(then again it usually happens). I guess I am a lavo-octo vegetarian but I still stick to a vegan diet for the most part because of the saturated fats in dairy and eggs. I never cared for gelatin(jello and marshamallows b/c of the taste and I hate the fact that you have to kill the animal for it. Then again it seems that most sweets you eat will probably have gelatin or glycerin hidden somewhere.
I am aware that vegans eat only plant based foods. Let's just say that a lacto ovo vegetarian has no meat at all but has a glass of milk and a sweet. Are they still considered lacto-ovo veggies? Are they not veggie at all? Are they partial vegetarians?

The proper, globally accepted defintion of a veggie, that has been in the dictionary's for 140 years is:

Vegetarians do not eat meat, fish, poultry or slaughter by-products

Quite simple and its strange that so many people try to corrupt the defintion just to be associated with it. If you eat any dead-animal derived produst, you are not veggie. No geletin, fish oil, animal fat, animal rennet etc. If a dead-animal is used to refine your food, its not veggie ( many sugars and wines etc )

No such thing as a "partial" vegetarian. Is the animal partly dead ? no.

...what??

Quit living under categories, no one but yourself dictates your diet anyway.

I totally believe n it. After a couple of years I recommend Becoming a Vegan!!

I wouldnt say the sweet could be eaten by a vegetarian as its basically just eating meat in tiny quantities, but of course you can eat milk and eggs if you are a lacto ovo vegetarian.

GOOD! YOU STOPPED EVERY THING BECAUSE YOU FEEL LIKE KILLING FOR EATING. BUT OTHERS WILL NOT STOP IT. WHEN YOU TAKE A DECISION, IT SHOULD HAVE AN UNIVERSAL APPLICATION. EVEN YOU ARE BECOME GANDHI OR BUDHA AND STOP EATING OF MEAT BY ALL HUMAN BEINGS, YOU CANNOT STOP ANIMALS EATING MEAT, BIG FISH EATING SMALL FISH. SIMPLE PSYCHOLOGY OF LIFE IS, EATING IS NECESSARY FOR SURVIVAL. EATING REQUIRES FOOD. FOOD MAY BE VEGETARIAN OR NON-VEGETARIAN. EVEN VEGETATION ALSO HAS GOT LIFE. BUT HEALTH-WISE, VEGETARIAN FOOD IS BETTER THAN NON-VEGETARIAN FOOD.
