Why do most companies not state their products as vegetarian or vegan? |
I have found many vegetarian and vegan foods / personal care products do not label as such. Why? Most mainstream foods are accidentally vegan/vegetarian. They aren't purposely made vegetarian or vegan, and i'm sure most of the manufacturers don't care one way or the other if they are vegetarian-friendly or not. Because that would cut out the label reading that everyone has to do. What's the fun in that? I think that many are trying to reach the 'mainstream market'. Its a matter of money and they prob dont even care. We are a small percentage and dont matter to some people. Its sad actually but the matter is that people just dont carre! |
