How many of you are victims of vegan hate crimes? |
I was reading a question by another YA member, and he was thrashed by another member. For the record, I eat my steaks rare, I am of perfect health, and I love granola. Also for the record I have not yet been attacked. I do not subscribe to the practice to Veganism, I don't know if I should be on eggshells. Now days it seems like saying something that may be percieved as offensive about veganism is like saying the N-word. I have not been a victim of anything I would label a hate-crime. What the heck is going on with this site? When did vegans become terrorists? For the record, I'm vegetarian but I would never tell anyone not to eat meat and would never refuse to handle meat for someone who does eat it. I even believe that it's acceptable for Asian nations to eat cat and dog (it's the way they treat them before and during slaughter that's difficult to accept) if that's what they choose to do. Freedom of choice, not brainwashing. Have you been attacked by a vegan? I'm a vegan who has never committed a hate Dear Navy: "Victims of vegan hate crimes" is maybe a bit overdrawn, don't you think so? The fact is, that vegetarians and vegans have to put up with a lot of stupidity due to a general ignorance and lack of interest. Hearing the same sterotype questions and comments over a long time can be very annoying and frustrating, but what is more annoying are accusations and prejudices based on nothing but the fact, that some people stick to a different life style. But then again, not everyone has the same IQ. well goody for you. Have your steaks anyway you want. There is an Indian legend that says when you die, you come to a bridge that you must cross before you are allowed into heaven. When you get to the bridge, you meet all of the animals that you have encountered in your life, and they get to decide whether or not to let you cross the bridge. This would include animals you have consumed for selfish satisfaction. I am a vegetarian, and I HATE granola. Why must you be so narrow minded? I can assure you my diet is more varied and creative than most peoples, yet nothing has to suffer or die or bleed for me to nourish my body, I too, am of perfect health now. When I ate meat, I was crippled and sickly. I will leave you alone about what you eat-how about doing the same for the record, i would present for the record the record of my first words, i said mama, then for the record I like to mention that, while the record is recording, i'm not sure your question is a question, and to answer your question for the record I have not been a victim of vegan hate crimes. For the record, I eat my steaks rare, I am of perfect health, and I love granola. I'm vegan and have never insulted anyone for choosing to eat meat.Yes I think it's morally wrong but keep that fact to myself as I am not a lover of arguments. Many vegans take their dietary habits as seriously as a religion, and you know how passionate and intolerant some religious people can be. I have been a victim of a race crime,so whats the diffrents? I think its just being in the wrong place at the wrong time.Iwas jumped by a crowed of black people, but keep in mind Im with a black man,so who is to say? I have been a victim of a vegan hate crimes. It's a side effect of no iron in the blood....LOL |
