What is the best way to store & use seeds to get maximum nutritional benefit? Is toasting ok? |
Is refrigeration necessary? What about after grinding? Should seeds be eaten soon after grinding? I am referring specifically to small seeds like sesame and flax/linseed that are apparently to small to digest unless ground. The best way to store seed is to keep them refrigerated or even frozen. They can turn rancid if left out too long. for nuts and seeds, soak in water for 12 to 25 hrs then bake it at temps under 150 degree in oven for no longer then 30 mins |
