What are some good vegetarian sources of the Omega 3 fatty acids?

They say that people my age and older should eat lots of salmon, etc. but I'm trying to go vegetarian (or at least as close as possible) so I'd like some alternatives.

I believe walnuts are good source of omega 3. Also, they are low crab.

flaxseed oil, also hempseed oil, walnuts, almonds, all nuts really, and avocados, and acai contains omega 3's, the best of these is the flax and hempseeds, whole, or oil extracts.

Ground flaxseed or flax oil. Remember, do NOT cook with flax oil. You can put it in a smoothie, in a salad dressing, or drizzle over vegetables.

Hempseed and oil. There are hemp granolas with omega-3 fatty acids and hemp seed bars called Alpsnack.

Walnuts are also a good source.

Silk soymilk with omega 3 is a good source.
hemp nut is supposed to be really good too and it has alot of protein.
i've tried it in hempmilk and it tastes pretty good.

Acai berries (can be bought frozen or in juice form) are high in Omega-3's. Acai comes from the Amazon rain forest, harvested with respect to nature (no cross cutting...need to preserve the trees for continued fruit production) and taste like a cross between blueberries and chocolate.

I am a vegetarian and I eat lots of rice and beans.
They are yummy!!
&&Macaroni and cheese.
It is my favorite lol.

Avacados!!!

Flaxseed, hempseed, walnuts & some other types of nuts.
I keep ground flaxseed in the freezer & sprinkle some on cereal, fruit, cooked veggies (after cooking) or into smoothies just about every day. It's easy & gives whatever I'm having a subtle nutty flavor. Also I use it in baking.

Soy products have Omega 3's

Hazlenuts and Flaxeed both have plenty of Omega 3 in them.

Salmon ... grilled with a dill sauce.--YUMMY.

Now doesn't that sound better than freaking hemp nut, flax seed, walnuts, etc and all that other crap everybody else is mentioning?
