Can my vegan diet be making me drowsy? |
I started on a raw foods diet about a week and a half ago. Go see a nutritionist or a doctor. Not in two months... now. I can only give you my opinion from my own experience, and by no means should you follow a random person's forum post instead of your nutritionist's / doctor's advice. Your liquid protein is good, but doesn't last long enough, that's why you're getting tired....You have to do some "solid protein" like cheese, "Balance" nutrition bars, beans, etc. Best wishes for your diet and you.... personally as a vegan i looks like you need more protein thats straight from the source. maybe eat more beans, tofu, soymilk etc. its completly normal to feel drowsy What were you before you got on a raw vegan diet? Yeah. My vegan diet made me tired all the time try some iron pills Improper nutrition can make you sleepy, weak, or even dizzy. Whether you are on a short term diet, or are making life-style change, I would very highly recommend seeing a nutritionist at your local doctors office. They will be able to help you figure out what is is that you are missing from your diet, and they can help you find a healthy balance in your vegan needs to help make you feel more complete on a daily basis. there could be two things: This is a guess but you should defiantly look it up, i think maybe your body is still getting use to the new form of eating your doing, give it a month or 2 and if it doesn't stop, get a doctors opinion, cause you never know it may be something else Quit mething around and take 5000 units of vit C everyday for 2 weeks. |
