Where can I find gluten-free vegetarian food in Houston?

I'm looking for restaurants in the Montrose or Heights area of Houston that have good gluten-free vegetarian options (I do eat eggs and dairy). So far, I can eat at Chuy's, La Tapitia, NikoNiko's and Hickory Hollow. Any others?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks to the answerers so far. To GREEGHOST: Thank you for your great information. Chuy's actually cooks much of their food with vegetable shortening, surprisingly, and they have a vegetarian symbol to alert customers to veggie options on the menu. Their queso is made with chicken stock, unfortunately, though, and many of their sauces are made with wheat. But I do like their tacos. And you're right that Hickory Hollow is BBQ, but I like their baked potatoes and grilled zucchini. As for Madras Pavillion, it used to be one of my favorite restaurants, but since I've been diagnosed as gluten-intolerant, I don't know if I can eat there or not. I'm not sure how common wheat is in Indian food. In any case, I will email you for further info. To CONNIE B: Thank you for your suggestions as well. I used to eat at that Vietnamese restaurant you mentioned, but now soy sauces is a gluten no-no for me :(. I'll definitely try Berryhill and the middle eastern places you mention!

That's a tall order! I'll contact some folks I know down there to get you a list of what's really available in that limited part of Houston. Further out west I know you'd do OK at Bombay Sweets and Udipi Cafe FWIW. When I was down there Chuy's used lard and/or chicken fat/broth in most everything and Hickory Hollow was a BarBQ joint. All the Asian restaurants in that part of town used fish sauce in most everything. I'll update later today or sometime tomorrow!

Edit:

Here's what I've got so far. Your best bet may be to attend a meeting of the Houston Celiac chapter tomorrow afternoon which will be off Gessner and Memorial. You'll be able to discuss options with other gluten sensitive folks. Send me an anonymous email through my profile (click my name or photo) for details including a phone number.
The only other info I've gotten so far is that there's a place on W. 19th called Crickets that should have some safe options for you. Is Madras Pavilion too far out of the way?

Edit:

I finally heard back from the other folks I know down that way. They didn't have gluten free suggestions for that part of the city that would also be veggie :(

I travel to Houston every 6 - 8 weeks and am vegan .. so I can tell you some places that have vegetarian choices , but you may have to ask about gluten free (although most I am sure will have that as well) Vietnamese food in a shopping center directly behind Hollywood video rental on WestHeimer by Waugh Drive ...., Indian food Madras on Kirby and 59Th has great lunch buffet ...., Mexican food Berry hill in the heights and montrose that has bean/corn tamale that is great ..... Asian food Wonderful vegetarian restaurant ... Middle eastern food La Fendee in Montrose on WestHeimer ..... another middle Eastern Cedars on Richmond west of Montrose has a better selection .... Hobbit cafe off of Richmond in Montrose ... If I can help more let me know ..
