What's the difference between a vegetarian and a nonvegetarian?

Can you like become taller and stronger when you only eat vegetables? When you don't eat vegetables at all is that bad?

Can you tell me what can veggies and fruits do to your body?? OUTCOME of it because when I was being raised. I was raised with FRied chicken only, candy, ships, mcdonalds, and soup. I was a fatass yes of course, but now I lost weight and im starting to eat healthy

A well-balanced, moderate diet with time for meditation and exercise will keep you in top-drawer shape.

You might want to google "Flexitarian Diets" or "flexitarian" for some quite excellent websites.

As a Brit, I can tell you the Vegetarian Society --- venerable in it's time --- is a bunch of old tossers counting the wrinkles on each others willies. They simply have failed to have an original thought since 1847 when it emerged from Christian fundamentalism.

Much of your health depends on your balance of a variety of products.

You can exclude meat from a balanced diet

You cannot exclude vegetables from a balanced diet.

You will not become taller by changing your diet.

The vegetarian society has lots of good food info pages:

Maybe you can become taller and most certainly you can become stronger by being a vegetarian. It is good for you, vegetables and fruits only. Its what everybody needs right now in America because of all these junk-food places. It is bad if you don't eat vegetables because we are not meat eaters. We do not usually feed on meat. We are both herbivore/ carnivore we just have to cook it for us to make it right. If you only eat meat and candy, you'll be a big blob, I'm not kidding do not do that. Meat is good for your hair, skin, blood cells, TOO MUCH is bad man. Remember, there's always a balance for "everything"

No diet will make you taller, and the only thing that can make you stronger is exercise, not food. Yes it is bad when you don't eat vegetables at all. If all you eat is meat and candy, all you are getting is saturated fat and sugar. Vegetables are where you get most of your vitamins, energy, and fiber. It is extremely important to have a good variety of vegetables in your diet.

My in-laws also do not eat vegetables. They only eat meat and sweet stuff like yogurt and pop-tarts. They both have serious, chronic, and varying health problems that never go away. They take more medication and make more trips to the doctor than anyone I've ever known, and they are not all that old. You truly are what you eat, so if you only eat garbage, your body will be garbage.

Eating a well balanced diet of all the food groups is the best.

Uh... vegetarians don't eat meat or slaughter byproducts.

You can't become taller and stronger with just vegetables because you also need protein and calcium which is in some fruits and vegetables and nuts and beans i believe as well which need to be eaten and since humans are not really designed to eat just meat because a lot of meat is basically the same and there is no variety so unless you take a lot of vitamins not eating fruits and vegetables is bad for you. Just like eating just one type of vegetable is bad for you too because you need to have a variety and you also have to exercise. But it also kind of depends on genetics also.
