This is for the women, what is the best way to shave a woman's vaginal area?

my girlfriend wants me to shave her clean in the vaginal area, how do I do this without cutting her or causing her any harm? Only serious replies please.

If you shave in the direction of the hair growth like a few people are suggesting...you won't get a close shave, you can still get razor bumps and knicks this way and you can still get ingrown hairs this way as well. There really is no way around an ingrown hair because it's not the razors fault...it's just the way the hair is growing in and there is no way to prevent it. You can get ingrown hairs even if you don't shave.

As for how to do it....Shaving is best done when the skin has soaked in water for 10 minutes or more. This helps to soften everything. So trim the hair with scizzors first so it's really short, have her soak in a hot bath, then gently exfoliate the area to be shaven so any dry or dead skin cells won't get in the way causing knicks or cuts, shave down, then gently and with short, quick strokes shave up and to either side, since on some people pubic hair, or just hair in general can grow in any direction. I find it's best to shave using a thick, moisturizing conditioner. It helps keep the skin soft and protected. A lot of shaving creams dry the skin out, even the ones that say they're moisturizing, so don't use those. You can also try dove soap and work up a good lather. When the shaving is all done pat the area dry and apply a good moisturizer, one that does not contain alpha hydroxy, as this will burn even if there are not knicks. Or apply a thin layer of vaseline. If there are any small cuts this will help them heal faster

Well..... I think the best way to go about that is........well um tell her to shave it her-self!!!!!!! i mean c'mon! who asks their man to save them self! but it's up 2 you i just think its sort of weird. If my bf asked me 2 do that i would be like r u kiddin!!! I would be like HELLL NO!

Wll trim hair with scissors until you cant cut anymore...then shave gently... no rocket science needed!

i would suggest you convince her to do it, its a very sensitive area and the skin is very...well..unpredictable, better to do it on her own.

Um wouldnt that be kind of nauseating. Before you do it i advise you not to eat anything oily, soft, or tangy you might throw up. And for how to shave it, Use an electric chargible shavers. It will shave it like a barbie dolls p***y =D. CLEAN AND SMOOTH

let her open the legs widly.use a good cream with water ,get a new shaving tool .do it gently.
but be sure u dont insert during the shaving

There is a personal shaving cream made by Trojan. I used it and it works pretty well. You can get it at a drugstore like Wal-Mart, Target, CVS or Sav-ons. The if there is irratation you can use Tend-Skin, purchased at Sephora.

Apply a warm towel first to the area. Next apply cream by Trojan. Use a woman's razor, preferably with the aloe gel on it. Shave with the gran. Unlike Shaving a mans face. Apply a warm towel afterwards. Then if any irratation apply Tend Skin with a cotton ball. Tend-skin helps eliminates the chances of razor bumps as well.

cut the hair by scissors until it's too short
then apply any sahving cream for women ofcourse then use clean shaving machine for women too and regard that u shave the same direction of hair growth

Shave in the same direction as the hair. Otherwise it can cause irratation. Have fun, I am sure she won't mind if you don't get it perfect!!!!

Well, it is very easy to cause cuts although they're not so painfull. But you have to shave in the direction of hair growth. Do NOT put pressure...It's very easy to do... you don't have to be slow, and you have to be carefull in the inner areas.

Be very gentle, trim any excess hair first,use warm, not hot water, a new blade or razor,use a shaving lotion that is made for women, go slowly and it will be an incredible experience for you both.
