Is it wierd for a guy to get a tattoo on his right side belt line or as woman call it the bikini line?

I have a Black Shamrock there i really like it. its not girly or cartoonish. its not like i can really be selfconsous about something i cant change but i have to show my padres some time so i guess im looking for a little back up here. To me it represents all the bad luck and funny stories that have happend to me over the years and now im a freshman in college 3 states away from home. so it kind of a celebration of my getting out of the house and bettering my life almost like aturning point in my life, a new era. Im irish as well and i wanted that tatto there for about a year and i love it so i guess thats all that matters but still what do you think?

I don't think tattoos, the locations of them or piercings are gender specific, though the media/pop culture make it that way. Your tattoo is personal and you did what you wanted. You are happy with it and yes that is all that matters.

i think its sexy when guys get tattoos down or around the bikini line....its like a invitation for a woman to see your body...i think you have to really think about a tattoo your body..i have two and i want three more before i stop. enjoy college... party...have fun but protect yourself....i got mine where no one can see it unless i invite you to look

Ive seen guys with the butts of a gun tattoo'd onto their "bikini line" - but thats usually with a hundred more tats....

nothing wrong with that. I dated a guy once that had a dophin tattoo there with an umbrella drinking a martini....now thats girlish..and he was a tool (but he was a swimmer/diver) so don't worry about the tattoo.
