Can women lighten the color of their nipples?

I want to have lighter colour nipples, are there any cosmetic procedures or creams that can be used?

My nipples turned almost black with my pregnancy and now they are so dark and my husband does not like them:-( and he is not attracted to me anymore because my skin became darker and I want to have him back and just to make myself feel better at least he will not have any more excuses to look else where...

1. If someone doesn't like you because of the color of your nipples, they are shallow.
2. Your nipples are only for your husband or your doctor to see.

Yes, see a plastic surgeon. It will be pricey, but if it will make you happy with your body, more power to ya.

dude. if your husband doesnt like you anymore just cuz your nipples changed color, you need a new husband, not new nipples.

if ur hubby cannot stand seeing ur darker nipples, i suggest u change ur hubby & not ur nipple color..

These are your nipples, not your husband's and to hell with him if he does not like them. If he values the color of your nipples above you overall as a person, I would suggest seeking some counseling for him or just leaving his sorry a##.

I want to second suzyq's answer. If your husband is so concerned over your freakin' nipples over your feelings, you deserve a lot better.

no plastic sergeon needed.. there is a cetrain cream but i can't remember its name... u'll find it at drug stores..

yes it's very possible, go to local plastic surgeon and ask for the Michael Jackson package

talk to a doctor

sandpaper and a thick roll of steel wool. You will be lighter in no time. Just scrub really really hard. Dont worry about any redness, it will go away in time. If this doesnt work, there is always coke.

I would just stick with what you've got. If your husband left you because of your nipples, he has other issues. It is not uncommon for the nipples to darken after pregnancy, and they will lighten on their own in time. Worry about you and your baby right now, the nipples will take care of themselves.

a bit of an odd question, and i agree that no one should be bothered by such a petty thing. but we women are good at finding things about ourselves to be bothered by. anyhow, i know in asian countries (thailand specifically, but i've heard they have them elsewhere) they have whitening creams and lotions. (there its popular to be white, tans are considered appalling things). so if you can find one of those it would probably work the same as on any other skin...

LATER NOTE: thanks for the additional info bella. i agree with the others- its ridiculous for your husband to not be attracted to you because of something so minor and common. its sounds like he's superficial, and not really loving you. love is when someone cares more about the other person than themselves, and he's not doing that to you. if its that big of an issue for him, he needs to get some counseling and get his priorities straight!

the skin over the nipple is light skin and it is vulnerable to change in size according to the mood of ur mind.so it able to expand(when u r feeling relaxed} and shrink(at times of increased tension in ur mind}. the more it shrinks the more it looks darker.there is one easy way i know ie, try appling coconut oil for ur upper body / body as a whole before taking bath.in few days u can see the results.......

Suck on them, or ask a close personal friend to suck on them. Maybe that would work

Dear Bella, I cant but I try to feel what you may want by changing the colour of your nipples, but let me remind you that it is not like what you feel about MEN to think of your nipple color. Because it is something about sex, men have a different and better feeling about the color.
But I heard somewhere that it is changable as you can male it seem lighter in colour by using some creams.
