What are some ideas for spending the evening in with my boyfriend?

We are both in our late twenties and some nights we just feel like staying in. Usually when we do stay in we just watch tv, but that gets boring so I'd like any suggestions to keep our relationship fun and open.

Here's a few options..
play card games, board games, video games, or whatever kind of games you would both enjoy.
Work on improving your house together (if you don't rent, or if you, redecorate!).
Listen to music, even better, dance to it!
Read together.
Create something together, if you're an artistic type.
Do a puzzle together, or a crossword.
