Whats the difference between your first love and your first true love?

it always crosses my mind and can you tell me how to tell love from lust???

Your first love is the guy that first steals your heart and makes you feel all them butterfly feelings and such. You call and talk for hours and hold hands walking to class. YOu go to the prom together. And you kiss and may expirment the first time with them. You have little nicknames for eachother and write little love notes back in forth. Then reality hits and hes off to college somewhere and your left home heartbroken.True love is when you find someone and you are able to talk to them and tell them every secret and trust them completely with your heart. THey are you best friend and your partner. They listen to you and care about you and your well being. They stand by yourside when things get tough and they always try to include you in their life plans. They are someone that loves to be with you as much as they love you with their heart. And they will love you for your flaws and all because they love you for you. And they will spend the rest of their life with you. And the difference between lust and love. Well lust is the wanting of one for their body or looks. You think more of them as a sexual object. Where as love is loving the person for who they are and how they think and their personality. Wanting them because they make you happy with who they are. And the are beautiful because they have a good personality.

First love is just that (first boyfriend) then you date some more & you meet this guy & the feelings are different & more intense. For me lust is: (he's hot, looks great, sexy) but....
when I think do I love him beyond that & his other characteristics & qualities I still get that (I don't know ? feeling)then I know that NO I don't love him. Hope this helps! Take Care!

In my opinon your first love is the one you meet when your in about 6th grade or so. You dont know what you feel but it exites you, and you want more.

Your first true love( I think you only have one "true love") is the person you see yourself with for the rest of your life. Youd do anything to make them happy and not let them feel pain.

Well, obviously first love is kind of someone's first mutual crush, usually around the age of 10 or 11. It doesn't usually amount to much, because people change so much as they get older.
The difference between love and lust seems to be what emotional investment the people have in each other; Do they want to protect the other person no matter what? Will they give up anything for this person? Would they be willing to spend forever with this person?

i'm wondering teh same thing!
