How important do u think being attractive is compared to having a good personality?

attractiveness is nice but personality will last longer. So for the long term I would rather have someone with a good personality then somone hott who is about as interesting as watching paint dry.

Looks are just skin deep. an attractive person might just be a devil! But your personality is what you are so thats what i think!

I like a good mind over good looks. If you aren't a stimulating person then as hot as you are, I would never want to take you out into public. Good looks will fade a way, but an engaging conversation can last a lifetime.

It's usually the same thing.

personality is number one important, you should always try to keep your self up and try to be attractive as possible.but most people are drawn to people with good, happy personalities more than to someone attractive.a person with a happy positive attitude will attract a lot more people,but remember you never know when you'll meet someone, so always take care of your looks, hair, body????????anyhow, personality is much more important!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you have a horrible personality it does not matter how you look because you are not giving a person a chance to look past your horrible personality.

well...personally....i even both out....i think being attractive isn't as muck being hot...but having good hygene, clear complexon, neat hair, etc., but, what really knocks it over the top is the guys peronality. I think that what makes a really good personality means good sense of humor-but not over the top, a nice smile, a good conversationist, will lean in when talking to---you know, take an interest in what he/she is saying, make the other person feel special...that's what really make a difference to me is the personallity, but hygene is big too (also---smell under hygene is an imprtant factor)...so yeah....good luck (?) to whatever you're doing...or even if you were just wondering.

Looks will get the door opened but personality will keep it from getting slammed in your face. Looks can only get you so far, they may get you noticed first but in the end if all it is is looks it wont last for long.

I think both are important, but I would take someone that has a good personality over someone that looks good. After all, you are only as beautiful on the outside as you are on the inside and some of the most beautiful people are ugly to me because of their personality.

Both are important and also a good sense of humor, plus a positive outlook on life.

I don't think it hurts anyone by being attractive.
But having a lousy personality sucks know matter what a person looks like. Who wants to be around an a*shole no matter what they look like....hmmmmm.
