Am i going about this the right way?

keywords: going,about,right,

Put that black insulatio tape (or silver if your tv is silver) in a strip along the bottom, covering the button.

My daughter (1yr old) has been going to the tv and turning it on and off. (she likes to push the button cuz it goes from green to red)
Its been annoying all day. We usually just have the music channel on all day so it isnt there neccesarily for entertainment, basically just some noise.

Well i had enough, after trying andf trying to say no, and moving her away, and smacking her hand (gently) away from the button. she just didnt stop.
Ive now unplugged it so she has no interest in the colour. she can still press the button but nothing is happening (obviously)

now she is whinging. and still pressing it. Is there another way to stop this extremely annoying behaviour? i dont think there is, but i dunno. someone might have a trick for me.
Its an expensive plasma so i just dont want it getting turned on n off all day long

Distract her. Find something more fun for her to play with. After you tell her no and move her away, get her interested in something else so she forgets about the button.

not alawys but kids usually act up because there board good luck

Get an old tv remote so she can press that button all day long! And put the good one out of her reach.

My toddler decided to stick hishand down his nappie and wipe his crap all over the tv screen.

The tv was worth around $2,000 and the crap burnt the screen.
Had to get a new tv.
It all happened in a matter of seconds.

The only way we taught him was constantly telling him not to approach the tv. Eventually it worked.
