Is an aquarium ok for a hedgehog? |

If the aquarium is big enough, it should be fine. I have used them in the past for mice and hamsters so I see no problem. But do not use the aquarium for fish or other creatures in the future unless you bleach thoroughly. i see people with hamsters, mice, and hedgehogs on youtube with aquariums for there pets. I have an old aquarium and im getting a hedgehog soon. its big enough, but will my hedgehog be ok? Absolutely not! Hedgehogs belong in a hedge, birds belong in the sky, tigers belong in the jungle, moles belong underground and so on. You do not belong in an aquarium, you belong where you are at as it is your habitat. Set it free and you will be glad you did and the hedgehog will be able to be a hedgehog and do all the natural things that Hedgehogs do. May all beings be free, especially you. RES Hedgehogs cannot eb housed in aquariums. They are too small and have poor ventilation. They need wire cages with solid bottoms. The minimum cage size is 6 square feet. You can make a c&c cage. I don't think Hedgehog's can breath underwater 0.o yes it is , ive used them, but if you do that , i wouldnt ever use the tank for fish in the future |

Personally, I prefer guinea pigs :) Guinea pigs love to be held and cuddled, and sit on your lap while you feed them a snack or pet them. They are calm and gentle, but can be quite vocal. Plus, ... You can certainly get vets that are great working with animals of all types- my vet is one of these vets- he works with cats, dogs, farm animals, and is great with my little pets, rabbits, guinea pigs, ... They either already had a disease when you bought them, or were poisoned by something. Either someone deliberately poisoned them, or there is something in or near their hutch that did it. Rabbits will ... its definatly not soppy to me my pets are part of the family,its always tough to loose 1 i still remember the time my first dog died she was my best friend always minding me my mom and dad got her when ... A good way to show that you are now getting to the age to be responsible with a pet is to help out with chores around the house without having to be asked. Help with the laundry, do the dishes, clean ... Let them know that if you don't take care of the guinea pigs, that they make great stir-fry.... I agree, there are alot of beutiful birds out there. But i recommend starting with a simpler bird like a parakeet or a canary. They are easier to train and they are beautiful as well as alot cheaper. ... That is something that should be handled professionally. If you are worried about it, tell them you will get the 30 dollars and do it yourself!... |
