How do i get rid of cats peeing at my front door?

cats come and pee on my front door and the smell is disgusting and flowing around the house. i have tried putting vinegar on the door (despite the horrible smell of it) but no success. what are things i could try to get rid of cat doing this?

Cats are very territorial. They mark their spot every time they pee. What you need to do is rinse the area and place several moth balls. By doing this you are confusing them. Moth balls are very strong and do over power their scent. If they can't find their scent , they will go somewhere else. This works very well. It does not hurt the cats and it keeps neighbours happy.

first you need to bleach the whole area outside your door to get rid of the scent they have layed an make sure you do this to up to 2foot up each wall as cats spray upwards,,then lay down the strongest pepper you have all around the door for a week this will keep them away..the reason they are spraying is they can smell another a cat and are marking their teritory

Try cat repellant plants like lavender, garlic jasmine, automatic cat repellant equipment, or throw water at them when you see them

Go to your local zoo and buy a carrier bag full of lion poo - cats are terrified of it, and if you leave it for a few days they'll nver come back - it really works in gardens I've tried it.
