Which is the correct way to hang toilet paper? |
We've been debating where I work, which way should toilet paper be hung? With the paper coming over the top, or coming from underneath the roll? It seems the men say underneath more often than not, and the women say over the top! What do you think? Jesus Christ, what did the toilet paper do to make you want to hang it.... Just kidding. Most of the etiquette I have ever seen says it should unroll from the top down. None of the etiquette i ever read however has addressed a case of the runs and what to do when you run out of toilet paper while on the pot and no one around to throw you a roll or lifeline.. Over the top you can find the end easier but rolling it towards the wall. Think about the foolishness of your question. There is no "right" way to hang toilet paper. If someone is so anal & trivial that they think toilet paper goes a certain & specific way, do you mean to tell me this person can handle BIG changes, like dieting or exercising? Or layoffs? Flexability is the key to survival, my friend! over the top over the top is the correct way in my house I don't think there is a right or wrong ... just a preferance by some people . My theory is as long as it isn't rolling on the floor and it on the roller I am happy. There is no correct way. Whatever suits the person who replaces the roll. Over the top. When you take what you need from the roll, the rest doesn't flop down to the floor. |
