What should you do when you swallow a hard candy?

This happens to me all the time and it can get uncomfterble I've tried drinking water... doesn't help that much.

drink something hot, like tea of coffee... the heat will dissolve the candy

(People can be SO stupid. Meat tenderizer is will help digest protein. Only protein. The thing that works is putting it in water.)

Hard candy is 99% sugar. (rest is just flavor and color)
It will dissolve in water. It will dissolve in your stomach acid even if you DON'T drink water.

Nothing to worry about. You don't NEED to do anything. You're uncomfortable because your esophagus was stretched out more than usual. It will go away by itself.

Stop swallowing it whole.

Try eating some meat tenderizer. I know this sounds gross, but dissolve some in a glass of water and drink it. It'll eat away at the candy.
