Can you tell the difference between sea-caught salmon, and farm-raised salmon? |
Can you tell the difference between sea-caught salmon, and farm-raised salmon? Yes sea-caught salmon have a "wild" taste to them. I prefer them over farm raised. farm raised have More disses and are usually smaller thy are all so feed more hormones than food Sea-caught salmon is far fresher than farm-raised! Size as a rule, and IMO fresh sea run salmon is far nicer, due to their varied diet. I remember hearing that sea-caught salmon is usually a darker/richer pink color than farm-raised salmon. |
