How long do eggs stay good after the expiration date on the package? I have kept eggs for weeks after expiration date and whenever I cracked them open they were fine because you can always smell a rotten egg, its horrible. Thank you for the vote Report Abuse I PREFER TO USE EGGS WITHIN A WEEK OF EXP DATE. At least a month. I'd throw them out. I remember watching on the TV about how sometimes if the eggs are not bought in the store sometimes they just put them into new packaging and sell them. a few mos About 5 days. They will be about 1 month old by the time they reach the expiration date. maybe 1 to 2 weeks! eggs are good for 5to7 days after the experation date about 2 weeks |
