Is it bad to eat cookie dough while pregnant?

I mean the packaged kind you buy from the grocery store and it's ready to be cooked. I've been craving it really bad lately!! Is it bad for the baby and I?

As long as the eggs are pasteurized, (and in store bought I believe they are) I don't think there's a problem.

i would be hesistant since since it contains raw eggs. when your pregnant i always say, "when in doubt-don't!"

have you heard of anyone actually ever dieing or ending up in the hospital from eating raw eggs in cookie dough.
look at those protein drinks some guys make at home and drink each morning, they put in some dry soy and a few raw eggs and they are fine........

Eating raw cookie dough isn't good for anyone since it has raw eggs in it.

I wouldn't eat it.. It has raw egg in it and it could make you sick and cause you to go into early labor.

Be very careful of how much you eat there are RAW EGGS in cookie dough!!!
