What's the best way to dry fresh herbs? |
Just cut a TON of Rosemary & Thyme from the garden b4 the weather gets too cold. What's the best way to preserve? I'd like to dry some and keep a few fresh stems as well for cooking during the next couple of weeks. Herbs should be picked in the early morning, then bunched together and put in a dark, warm environment and left alone until they are dry. All the answers were good. I also just laid a few bundles on a paper towel in the fridge.
