How to prepare and send cookies in mail?

What is the best way to prepare and send homemade cookies in the mail? One batch would be going just outside town... the other going to another country. How to send each??? many thanks.

I send cookies over-seas all of the time.
What I do, is I stack the cookies evenly in ziplock bags and then remove as much air as possible from the bag when closing it. I then wrap each bag of cookies in bubble wrap and package them in a priority mail box that I get from the post office.
They make it to Kuwait safe, every time!

well if you were going to send cookies to another country i would probably buy some dry ice and send it over night. i think thats the best way to do that with out serious problems with spoiling. i would just make sure to pack the cookies approprietly.

Buy some of those tin cans with lids, or those throw away containers with lids. Put them in those. Put in box, wrap and mail.

You have to store them in an air tight container but it in a box and send them. If it's to an other country use federal express or another paid mail that will get there fast before they spoil. Regular airmail can last months to another country.
