How can I make my bananas keep more than few days?

I live in Arizona - it's too hot to leave them on the counter.

I put mine in the fridge in a brown bag.

you should try putting them in a refrigerater it will keep it good a clean

Buy your bananas green....yes green, that will take them about 2 to 3 days to ripen and they will last longer. Do not leave them in the plastic produce bags, it causes gas to form which fruits and vegetables naturally give off to ripen faster. When the bananas get too brown do not throw away freeze them, you can make Delicious smoothies or banana bread.

Keep them in the fridge box.

put them in the fridge even if the skin goes brow this does not ment the have turned bad
when i put mine in the fridge they normally go brown quick
but they do not go all soggy inside like you would think a brown banana would do

try this... store them in a brown bag and put them in the lowest part of your refrigerator. it is said that the light makes bananas decompose quicker. they should keep a couple of days longer.
