What are some foods can be made into decorations?

If someone could help me this one is part of a foods project too. I already have the candy cane but can't think of anything else...i need to find the origin or where the idea came from. help please..

a lot of people string popcorn and cranberries as garland around christmas time...pumpkins and gourds are also decorations around thanksgiving.

There is popcorn string that goes on the tree.

Gingerbread men, walnuts or other nuts, tangerines, marzipan are all traditional.
