What is a good perfume for a woman in her forties? |
Looking for a few suggestions for perfumes that would appeal to a lady in her forties. Not Channel though (apparently allergic!). You want something sophisticated which generally means a perfume with a musk or oriental type fragrance. Clinique Aromatics. I love it. Or DKNY clarins red or blue one its lovely Elizabeth Taylor has lots of varieties of parfumes that appeal to women of an older generation. It would really depend on your personality and body chemistry. I would suggest going to the perfume counter at Nordstroms or other similar location and letting them sample the different scents for you. They have cards or "wands" that they can spray to let you sniff. Find about 4 or 5 that you really like and try one on. Then go back another day and try another. Your own chemistry will change the smell so don't just pick one that smells good in the bottle. Space NK have some great fragrances My mum is in her forties and loves Noa. Are you in the UK? How about going to somewhere like Boots and buying one of those mixed packs - usually three or four mini perfumes? If she is allergic to Chanel she may well be allergic to other perfumes too. GIVENCHY HOT Couture is nice not too Strong . j'adoir by dior CK1.. (calvin Klein!) My mum loves Kenzo - Flowers. Smells really nice! Prada perfume. Stylish and comes in a classy looking bottle. Sarah Jessica Parker's Lovely Clinique Happy Heart. Dior Pure Poison charlie red its cheap too I'm allergic to allot of perfume but I do like clinique's Happy (the origanal one). It's very light and fresh and it doesnt bother my allergies. Good Luck! try ralph lauren romance...its lovely, my mum smells a million dollars wearing that, plus its a good price too.... I think a lot of guys like her ... I think fragrances can only be picked by the wearer. It takes a long time to find the one perfect scent... but once you have it---! ...Definitely Creme De La Mer. It's like liquid youth, but it's wicked expensive though. Maybe find out what brands she likes, you can do this slyly by asking what kind of lipstick she has... A woman can be xs to xxxl and still look good in a bikini as long as she's healthy and fit. 2D ...not talk as much.lol jk ... |
