How many shaves are woman's disposable razors good for?

i'd say three at the most. if you keep re-using it, the blades eventually get dull which actually makes it easier for you to cut yourself. plus the bacteria builds up.

It depends on the type and brand....I find that the really cheapy ones are only good for one shave. If you buy a decent disposable, I'd say the max is three. But then again, I have really sensitive skin, and I REALLY hate disposables. I only use them for travel (because I hate leaving behind my nice Venus razor)

Just once...After you use it once the conditioning strips on the razor get used up...So to keep your body parts nice and smooth use a razor only once.

Use it till it starts plucking the hairs out,thats when you find out hubby has been using your razor....Liz.

According to a Dr. that Oprah had on last year, the average disposable razor should only be used twice! Hope that helps!
