Those were your words correct? The reality is most men can't do that. When the majority of men only last 5 minutes it is hard to make a woman quiver. Women take a long time to orgasm, assuming they can at all. It may take different positions and the use of other stimulus to get her there. So to answer your question..." There is nothing wrong with good old fashioned love making, but in a world where women are more confident, there is also nothing wrong with trying something new. It is all about communicating and finding out what works best in your own relationship.

Actually "good old fashioned love making" wasn't always missionary as everyone was led to believe. There were studies several decades back that proved that couples experimented quite a bit more than they let everyone else believe. Its just the modern sex-driven culture that has made people become more open about their sexual practices. Consenting, committed couples do try other things, if not to keep things interesting in the bedroom, than to stimulate and please each other, and make each other "quiver" as you said. Missionary can be very pleasurable, but its not the ONLY way.
