What is the most amount that child support can deduct from your weekly income?

I have two children. My wife and I are separated, not legally yet but we aren't living in the same household. I have offered to keep sending money so we wont have to go to court. She is hesitant and I think we will have to go to court. Thats why i would like to have an idea of how much the court might take. Any answers will be helpful. Thanks in advance and god bless.

If you have an agreement you can file it in court, the judge may/maynot accept it.. Most states have a formula that they use and it is based on both parents income. The courts will not take money out of your paychecks unless you are behind in your payments.

In Tennessee they take 21% for one child and I think 32% for two children. This is a percentage of your gross earnings.

Depends on what state you are in. In PA it's up to 50% of your check, but not to exceed an amount that would leave you with less than 750 a month to live on. That is the max, but you wouldn't nornally hit that max with just one kid - maybe you would with 2, I'm not sure. Most states have websites that you can reference for a good idea on how much you will have to pay.

It depends on the state and how much time you are with the kids.
It can be anywhere from 17% - 49% of your monthly income (the go by month not week). The more kids you have the higher it is plus if they have to go to daycare.

Depends on what state you live in and how much you make. Some states take 17%, and others I've heard of getting 24%, and that's for one kid. You just need to find out the guidelines for your state.

There is no maximum amount they can deduct. It all depends on what you earn. It varies from person to person. The more you make, the more you pay. The less you make, the less you pay.

2 kids... I think its 25% of your pay for child support. depends on the state you live in... for 2 kids in Georgia its 25%

i make $60,000 and pay $255.00 per week for 2 kids

up to 65% of your wages.
