What would be the status of h4 visa if marriage is bifurcated?

Hi,
I am on H4 Visa and my wife is on h1. the marriage got bifurcated. still one more month to disolve before all issues are resolved. No regrets. So, am I an Illegal Aliens as of now? OR since its not completly dissolved, is my H4 visa valid?

legally, your h4 visa status ended the day you separate with your wife. you should change your h4 status to another non-immigration visa ASAP before your wife report your status to USCIS.

A marriage can't be bifurcated - the divorce proceedings are bifurcated. That means that the divorce is broken into two pieces so that the marriage can be dissolved before the financial and other issues are settled. So you are probably already divorced. How that affects your visa status, I don't know.
